The Good News Blog!!!

Good morning, and how are you today?

Welcome to Day 2 of the Polari Travel Blog. I have to say that I am really enjoying sharing everything with you.

OK before we begin, lets all get into a positive state of mind, come on.............after all I did call todays Blog The Good News Blog!!!

Well yesterday went really really well. We had a meeting with Richard and Selina. There are lots and lots of exciting things coming your way through Polari Travel.

I can start giving snippets about what is going on now. But I'll save the MAJOR news until later. Having your own television channel is something so exciting, and having the Travel Channel, which is something that I love is so special.

I have been in travel for many years now. I think that it all started when I was a child, and I used to go into Travel Agencies, and pick out a load of brochures, and flick through them, and pretending to be a Travel Agent. I can always remember that I found a holiday to Ostend, and I tried to persude my Mum and Dad to take us there, but they didn't!! My first trip abroad was to Rotterdam on North Sea ferries. Wow, I was amazed, we took the overnight ferry, and arrived first thing in the morning. My second trip abroad was to Tenerife, I had never flown on an aeroplane before so the holiday was something really exciting.

I feel very fortunate to have travelled as much as I have, working as Cabin Crew for British Airways took me all over the world. I have been fortunate to visit such places like Iran, Kazakhstan, one of my favorite unusual places was Baku in Azerbaijan. I have been to the usual places like China, Austrailia, New Zealand, USA.

My favorite holiday now is cruising. Oh we just love it. We have just been on board Crystal Serenity of Crystal Cruises. Oh it was amazing. We had a 12 night adventure around the Mediterranean. I highly recommend it.

Anyway, thats enough about me for now. So back to Travel Polari. As the launch day approaches faster than Lewis Hamilton over the finish line, we are going into the Studio to begin filming the newly named Plan It Book It Pack It, which will take a simular format as Sky Travel. So you'll be able to see us in your own front room very soon. On the programme list we have The Wine Show with Andrew Grubb - Wine Expert from Austrailia, then we have The Cruise Ship Expert featuring our very own Graham Andrew, who we are proud to say has had over 20 years in the Cruise Industry. Please feel free to e-mail him grahamandrew@TVpolari.com and he answer any questions that you might have.

OK thats it from me for today,I'll write more when I can.

Keep smiling, and stay positive

Mike
